The Blacklight 95 belongs to the Speed Touring segment and is developed for fast top tour ascents and longer tours in exposed environments. The slightly wider dimensions give this model an extended carrying surface, even on soft surfaces and fresh snow. A premium model for all types of terrain and surfaces over long distances and for everyday exercise.
Core of laminated Paulownia for optimal synergy between lightness, solidity and softer torsional stiffness provides forgiving properties in demanding terrain. UD Carbon, a carbon fiber with one-way stretching over the entire surface of the ski, maximizes torsional stiffness and provides the lowest possible total weight. Sandwich construction with ABS sidewall is combined with Dynafit's proven 3D Sidewall Cap, which reduces material consumption without affecting torsional stiffness.
Rocker profile in both nose and rear end and side cut optimized for each unique length provide proportional function with efficient running surface and turning radius.
The surface of the ski is prepared for competition. Combines with pre-cut Dynafit Speedskin that are prepared with Dynafit's unique nose and rear attachment.
Specification
– Race finish: the surface is prepared for competition
- Weight: 1220 grams (length 172 cm)
Paulownia Speed Core
Core of laminated Paulownia, a wood of the highest quality, provides an optimal synergy between lightness and solidity. A softer twist provides forgiving characteristics. The core is specially designed for race and speed touring.
UD Carbon
Unidirectional (UD) Carbon is carbon fiber with one-way stretch that is laid parallel without bonding across. The fibers gain greater strength when they are not interwoven.
3D Sidewall Cap Construction
This technology combines Sidewall Construction and Cap Construction to provide maximum power transfer over the entire length of the ski. The construction reduces weight and provides forgiving properties. The three-dimensional shape is another way to reduce weight and at the same time obtain maximum torsional stiffness.
