The Zero G Tour Scout W is a torsionally rigid boot for ski touring and is aimed at free skiers who want medium flex during advanced summit climbing. The boot is built with a shaft of polyurethane and a shell of Grilamid. The walking mode Double Blocking Mobility Cuff System provides 55-degree range of motion during walking and non-existent play in the locked position with a correct flex index.
The sole of the boot from Vibram has dual density, yellow rubber in areas that are in direct contact with the binding for higher power transfer when skiing. Black rubber has a softer density that provides increased grip and safety when walking and climbing. The fasteners, Low Tech Inserts, are certified by Dynafit according to ISO 9523. The inner shoes have integrated RECCO reflectors that are searchable by lifeguards.

CAS Customization Shell
The shell has an anatomical shape that mimics the shape of the foot. The notches on the shell provide less surface tension and facilitate heating before adaptation. The material maintains the changed shape better and longer.
Shell features:
– Anatomical and precise shape
– Simplified and fast thermoforming
– Simplified customization
Scale adaptation
– Punching (increased volume): The polyether material can be heated and punched in problem areas
– Sanding (increased volume): the material is sandable in problem areas
Ultra Light/Light Liner
Extremely light inner shoe with a waterproof membrane that prevents water and moisture from penetrating the boot.
Double Blocking Mobility Cuff System
A locking mechanism that gives the boot 55° mobility in walking position with maximum stability and safety. Has a self-adjusting system that removes all play in the locking mechanism.
Grilamid®
Grilamid® is a high-performance polyamide developed in Switzerland, a revolutionary plastic with exceptional properties. It is a light, very durable material with high impact resistance, resistant to fatigue and cracks. It also has long-term resistance to degradation by UV light.
Polyurethane cuff
The shaft is made of polyurethane which is a lightweight very durable material with high impact resistance and resistance to fatigue and cracks.
Low Tech Inserts
Certified soles according to ISO 9523 with low tech inserts - fasteners for Low Tech bindings certified by Dynafit.
Recco
Integrated RECCO reflector searchable for lifeguards. The light, passive transponders consist of a diode and an antenna. They do not require power or activation to operate and are designed to last a lifetime, they do not age or wear out. If they are not mechanically damaged, they last forever.
Vibram
Tecnica works with soles from Vibram, which developed a dual-density rubber compound. Yellow rubber in areas that are in direct contact with the binding provides higher power transfer when skiing. Black rubber has a softer density that provides increased grip and safety when walking and climbing.
