The Firebird WRC is the longest radius ski in the Firebird line. Cutting provides full power and stability in long giant slalom turns at high speed. The C-Spine and C-Armor technologies together with a double Titanal Sandwich Compound Sidewall construction provide a controlled ski with stability and power. The ski comes with powerful Marker XCELL 14 bindings.

Carbon Armor
Carbon Armor is a layer of bidirectional carbon fiber placed over the center of the ski, directly under the rail. This carbon fiber layer provides extra torsional rigidity and power to the center of the ski.
Carbon Armor works in the early to mid-turn when the need for control and stability is greatest. The construction counteracts micro-vibrations during binding, provides increased edge grip and an increased sense of stability and control.
When Carbon Armor provides the greatest effect, it gives the ski high performance, maximum power and aggressive character.
Carbon Spine Core
The Carbon Spine Core consists of two bi-directional layers of carbon fiber running from the tip to the back end, vertically positioned between the wood cores of ash and poplar.
The technology is activated during the middle and end phases of the turn, when reaction and agility are needed the most. In this phase, the structure releases the energy and recovers the power for transition to the next turn.
When the Spine Core is at its most effective, the ski provides increased stability, increased precision, maximum recovery and responsiveness.

AFD Gliding Plate Race
The binding is equipped with an AFD plate that provides precise release regardless of dirt, snow and ice. Individual adaptation for the area of use is recommended for optimal functionality.
Intelligent Backward Release
Intelligent Backward Release clearly differentiates between forces arising during a backward fall with twist and forces resulting from the force on the ski edge in cornering. An individually adjustable spring regulates the rearward release and still maintains performance.
Triple Pivot Compact Toe
The development of the toe part required maximum functionality and low weight. This has resulted in a binding system with optimized release and the possibility to individually adjust the release backwards. The horizontal spring enables a compact design with optimal power transmission.
Compact Heel
An efficient, compact heel piece with optimized release and low weight provides excellent functionality. The technology is practical for light practitioners looking for uncomplicated handling.
Grip walk
The binding is prepared for GripWalk soles. The material in the soles has been developed with a co-polymer and it has been given a rocker profile. The convex shape combined with ribbed pattern provides walking comfort and improved grip. Integrated panels of hard rubber provide optimal power transfer and precise release from the binding.
