The Black Pearl 82 has been developed for all-mountain riding with a lot of cutting that provides playfulness, stability, agility and control for piste and freeride. This construction for women has a slightly advanced cut and position. The ski is built on Trueblend All-mountain Woodcore, which is the heart of the ski. A core that provides increased precision and stability, more power and performance resulting in calmer and more controlled skiing. High density strings have been built into the core and provide a progressively softer flex in the tip and back end. Flipcore Construction uses a two-way carbon fiber in the tip and tail of the ski to stabilize the vibrations that occur.
Specifications
- Radius 13,5 m (@ 166 cm)
– Side cut 121 – 82 – 105 (@166 cm)
- Weight: 1660 grams (@ 166 cm)
Trueblend All-mountain Woodcore
In Trueblend All-mountain Woodcore, 7 integrated high-density strings are built into the core of the ski and provide a gradually softer flex in the tip and back end. With varying length and placement, the ski's flex can be controlled very precisely.
Flex is stiffer in the binding area to provide strength and support. Strength and stability are created with denser woods through the center of the ski which also provides edge grip and control. Flex gradually becomes softer towards the tip and rear end, which provides compliant technology and soft release of the force. With the technology, flex can be controlled precisely over the entire ski length to at the same time maintain consistent behavior in all lengths.
Trueblend Flipcore WSD
Flipcore Construction WSD uses a two-way carbon fiber in the tip and rear end of the ski to stabilize the vibrations that occur. Integrated with the core, it provides increased precision and stability, more power and performance, which results in calmer and more controlled skiing.
Rocker-Camber-Rocker
Elevated tip and rear end provide improved flow in deep snow. A camber construction along the ski distributes the force and provides distinct carving properties.
Wide titanal reinforcement
A titanium plate directly under the binding gives the construction increased torsional rigidity and reinforces the mounting surface.

AFD Gliding Plate
The binding is equipped with an AFD plate that provides precise release regardless of dirt, snow and ice. Individual adaptation for the area of use is recommended for optimal functionality.
Intelligent Backward Release
Intelligent Backward Release clearly differentiates between forces arising during a backward fall with twist and forces resulting from the force on the ski edge in cornering. An individually adjustable spring regulates the rearward release and still maintains performance.
Triple Pivot Compact Toe
The development of the toe part required maximum functionality and low weight. This has resulted in a binding system with optimized release and the possibility to individually adjust the release backwards. The horizontal spring enables a compact design with optimal power transmission.
Compact Heel
An efficient, compact heel piece with optimized release and low weight provides excellent functionality. The technology is practical for light practitioners and beginners looking for uncomplicated handling.
Grip walk
The binding is prepared for GripWalk soles. The material in the soles has been developed with a co-polymer and it has been given a rocker profile. The convex shape combined with ribbed pattern provides walking comfort and improved grip. Integrated panels of hard rubber provide optimal power transfer and precise release from the binding.
