Saddles.

En saddle is the part of a bicycle that the cyclist is riding. It is one of the contact points, together with the bicycle handlebars and pedals.

There are many different models of bicycle saddles, most of them pear-shaped. Utility bike saddles are usually wider, while competition saddles are narrower. In the past, the saddle cover was usually made of leather, but today, imitation leather, lycra, kevlar and other synthetic materials dominate.
Brooks makes slightly more expensive saddles made of leather and other slightly more expensive materials, so it is still possible to get genuine leather saddles.

Most saddles are short and attached to the frame via a rod. Longer glue saddles (loaves) usually has two attachment points in the frame. Another variant is the bicycle seat that is used on seat bikes to carry the entire cyclist's weight.
