Skis Rossignol SAS, is a sports equipment manufacturer in IsèreFrance. The owner, 80%, is the Norwegian financial group Altor.

Rossignol was founded in 1907 as a textile company. In addition to textile production, skis were made. In the 1950s, when the company was bought by Laurent Boix-Vives they changed direction and ski production took over. A breakthrough came at them 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley. The company's success has since continued, and it was among the first to start manufacturing plastic skis. During the 1980s and 1990s, several other brands in the industry were acquired, including the binding manufacturer look.

2005 was bought by Quiksilver

The products are designed in the French Alps, near Grenoble, by designers and R&D experts who are passionate about the mountains and strive for perfection. From skis, equipment and clothing, they offer excellent design, quality and aesthetics.
