Skis Rossignol SAS, is a sports equipment manufacturer in IsèreFrance. The owner, 80%, is the Norwegian financial group Altor.

Rossignol was founded in 1907 as a textile company. In addition to textile production, skis were made. In the 1950s, when the company was bought by Laurent Boix-Vives they changed direction and ski production took over. A breakthrough came at them 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley. The company's success has since continued, and it was among the first to start manufacturing plastic skis. During the 1980s and 1990s, several other brands in the industry were acquired, including the binding manufacturer look.

2005 was bought by Quiksilver

The products are designed in the French Alps, near Grenoble, by designers and R&D experts who are passionate about the mountains and strive for perfection. From skis, equipment and clothing, they offer excellent design, quality and aesthetics.

They work closely with the greatest masters to develop products that are both technically superior and intuitive, high-performance and fun, and offer everyone a shared experience on snow that is satisfying, intense and accessible.

The clothing collections offer an exclusive and modern formula that reinterprets the technical sports DNA in a complete wardrobe, designed perfectly for both the slopes and the streets.
